We are an experienced and inclusive team of Counselling Practitioners trained to specialise in trauma-informed recovery. We understand that anyone can be affected by sexual trauma and the wide range of impacts it can have.

STAR offers one-to-one counselling for adults, young people and children at our dedicated counselling centres in Portsmouth, Newport (Isle of Wight) and Fareham. These can be face-to-face, remote-virtual counselling or via phone. We can even travel to you and meet in your community at a safe and confidential space.

STAR Counselling run specifically designed groups for mixed genders, single sex, women and men’s groups, along with monthly day retreats. We also run a group for people who identify as LGBTQ+, including people who identify as non-binary or gender fluid, and children and young people’s groups too.

This is free to access counselling, we accept self-referrals and referrals from professionals.

We are members of the Male Survivors Partnership.
